Thank you for taking the time to learn more information about me. My name is Laura Wall and I am a 26-year old Front End Web Developer living in Columbus, Ohio. I graduated from a Central Ohio Technical College in 2017 with an Associate of Applied Science in Digital Media Design Technology (Web Design) and afterwards moved out to Arizona to pursue challenging professional opportunities. After joining the University of Phoenix, I moved back to Ohio and now work 100% virtually amongst a team of developers, product owners and more. At UOPX, I develop and test ADA compliant, responsive, and user-friendly code and author Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) components on the University of Phoenix website in a fast-paced Agile environment.
I embody a passion for anything related to technology and programming; each day I push myself to build a new project with the skills and industry knowledge that I have gained while working in the field. When I’m not digging deep into code, I enjoy playing a variety of video games, such as Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, Apex Legends and Rainbow Six: Siege, watching TV shows such as American Horror Story and The Office, and spending time with my family.
Beyond crafting visually appealing and functional code, I optimize final files for speed, performance, and responsiveness. My approach integrates best practices such as SEO and site speed optimization.
